Available from 1st June to 25th October, your experience begins at the Croft, where you’ll step into one of our beautifully presented horse-drawn carriages and set off at a calm, steady pace. As you travel through the surrounding countryside, you’ll have time to switch off, breathe deeply, and enjoy the simple rhythm of the journey.
Your carriage ride takes you to the historic village of Carrbridge, where you can stretch your legs and explore at your leisure. Take a moment to admire the intricately carved wooden bench that tells the story of the village, and visit the iconic Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge—a remarkable structure that has stood strong for over 300 years.
After your stroll, you’ll enjoy a light lunch at a welcoming local venue such as The Carrbridge Kitchen or The Cairn Hotel, or relax with an alfresco picnic. It’s your time to pause, savour good food, and soak in the atmosphere.
The return journey invites you to fully unwind as you sit back in the carriage, taking in the surrounding scenery and perhaps even spotting local wildlife along the way.
